About Us

My wife and I have spent our lives travelling the world having been married for almost 50 years. My occupation as a Master Mariner took us to all corners of the globe before I came ashore in the late 80's and was posted to a number of countries including the USA, Mexico, Dubai, Hongkong and Singapore. 

It was not until the mid 90's that we returned full time to the United Kingdom although I continued to do a lot of travelling with Myra both for business and pleasure.

From 2000 onwards I stepped back from commerce to a major extent and we got involved in classic cars and latterly motor yachts. Ultimately buying Blue Legend which we kept primarily in the Mediterranean.

In 2022 having sold Blue Legend, we decided to return to endurance rallying for the foreseeable future as this gives us time for other hobbies and in particular our four grandchildren.

This website is a continuance of previous methods of publication of my blogs which are followed by a select few connoisseurs of adventure and fine writing !
